The New Hampshire Law Library is the only law library in the state open to the public. The Library has four public computers for online legal research, with access to Westlaw, Lexis Nexis, and Hein Online, and many books, CD-ROMs and microfiche materials for public use. Materials cannot be checked out directly from the Law Library but anyone is welcome to come to the library and use the materials there. The Law Library does, however, lend materials to the public through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). The ILL policy is here. Contact your local library to borrow through Interlibrary Loan. Members of the New Hampshire Bar Association may also apply for borrowing privileges using this form. Library staff cannot give you legal advice, or do your research for you, but the staff can teach you how to use the tools of legal research to find your own answers. HOURS: Monday through Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Closed court holidays LOCATION: Supreme Court Building, One Charles Doe Drive, Concord, New Hampshire 03301 Source: New Hampshire Judicial Branch |
