Yes, you can get the NYTimes content via Lexis but here's a new option...

We just received notice that everyone at UNH (including the law school) can claim their access to the NY Times Online.

Here’s the posting I received with all of the information!

“Exciting news! We now have New York Times Online Access thanks to the teamwork at UNH Dimond Library!

The Law Library will be adding the link to Law’s New York Times Online database listing for you to access at any time.

Here are some of the details of the subscription:

  • Users will need to register for accounts, if you are off campus you may need to type the University of New Hampshire in the field for the school name and then follow the prompts for the next steps.
  • Users will need to select whether they are Fac/Staff or Students. –
    • Fac/Staff access will last until 2027 when our current contract expires.
    • The length of student access varies depending on graduation year.

Along with 24/7 breaking news, our access through UNH includes:

  • Archives (dating back to 1851)
  • Games and Cooking (yes Wordle and the Crossword)
  • Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality - found in the App; NYT stories told through enhanced technology
  • Daily 360 content - two-dimensional, 360° views (with a mobile device or using a mouse)
  • Podcasts (including The "Daily" podcast)
  • All multimedia, including videophotographyVR features, and emerging types of multimedia.
  • Newsletters (there are a variety of topics that you may subscribe to)
  • Spanish and Mandarin Chinese versions of NYTimes.com

*Existing registered subscribers with active paid subscriptions who want to use the UNH subscription must cancel their personal subscription by connecting with a chat agent on the site, or calling 800-698-4637 before registering the account. Once the subscription is canceled, they can register for an account by typing in the school name (University of New Hamsphire) and following the instructions based on their location. Since the subscriber “Already has an account " they click “Log In" (Found below "Create an Account"). Input their email address and the same “Password” created for their previous account. If the subscriber encounters an error message that subscriber can email edu@nytimes.com.

*Existing registered subscribers who do not have an active NYTimes subscription can register their account by typing in the name of the school (University of New Hampshire) and following the instructions based on their location. Since the subscriber "Already has an account " they click “Log In" (Found below "Create an Account"). Input their email address and the same “Password” created for their previous account. “
