Legal Writing Resources for Hybrid J.D. Students: Home

This Guide is designed to provide you with a wide range of resources, ranging from scholarly to study aids. These resources have been chosen to help you study for your first year Legal Writing class. As you proceed through law school you will likely be exposed to specialized classes with a focus on specific types of legal writing such as Writing for Practice or Judicial Opinion Drafting.

Consider start by checking out the available lessons in Legal Writing by CALI (these include a very friendly primer on punctuation and grammar.) You will need to set up a password to use CALI online. To set up a username and password, you will be asked to enter UNH Law’s authorization code.  You can get this code from any Reference Librarian.
